Toga paced back and forth in the waiting room, his whole life on the line here. This had been unplanned, they were not ready for another child. Takeru had been enough for them both, yet she had insisted the day had been safe, and she had even promised to take some pills in case it wasn't. 'Oh, but I forgot... We should keep the child! It'd be a bad way to end life, dear. You know it is.' Toga was too big of a softie. He had agreed to keep the child, even if it had been unplanned. He had always denied her ideas for having more than one child, and now he was paying the price for that denial the hard way: With a child being forced upon himself anyways. He had only a few people with him. Uhai, his own father, and Hikaru Takemichi, the neighbors lone woman who was raising her own baby daughter. They both gave him advice with how to deal on the situation.
He loved his wife enough to not leave for what was technically blackmail. She had such strength of will, and they had been together for so long. He could not even imagine a life without her, even if such a life could be more fulfilling or without children. Toga had NEVER been good with them. He felt like he was ignoring Takeru already, what with the boy's interest in electrical appliances at the age of six, but he just couldn't think up of anything he could expect buy him expensive toys and kits every birthday, but they weren't rich either. He loved his son so much, so so much... And he couldn't show his affections without being awkward. His smile gained a wry tone as the door opened. He knew that the time was here.
"Mister Shishi? You can come inside now." The nurse called for him and he answered as he entered, cold sweat running down his neck as he watched the bed. There she was, the love of his life, and their mistake. She was beautiful, Yukari... The light of his life holding such darkness in her hands. He took a few steps from the door and sat down next to the bed, watching her play with the child. He seemed so joyful... Such life in a small package. He forced himself to smile as he inspected the child. Could he be a father to two? He barely qualified for one.
"Have you thought of a name, Yukari?" He turned his head to his wife.
"Of course... Ishin. Like the group of old."
